Batter Jack Haynes joined Nottinghamshire in the winter of 2023 as a highly regarded prospect, having built an enviable record in the domestic game despite his tender years.
In his first season at the club, he made seven fifties in 19 County Championship games - only Joe Clarke reached the milestone more often - with a further four in white ball cricket.
He made his First Class debut for Worcestershire aged 18 against Australia, and scored his maiden century in the format in 2022, with an unbeaten 120 against Durham in the County Championship.
That year, he averaged 47.70 in First Class cricket, scoring 811 runs in 19 innings.
Haynes also has a List A ton to his name - the format in which he made his first team debut against West Indies A - having made 153 against Essex in 2021.
The talented youngster has made appearances for England U19s in a 50-over tri-series in the Caribbean, and in the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
