Kunal Manek was appointed as Nottinghamshire’s first full-time Performance Analyst ahead of the 2017 season, having previously worked on a consultancy basis with the ECB.
The role that analysis plays in preparing the Outlaws for battle has expanded dramatically during Manek’s time with the club, with the analyst meticulously studying Nottinghamshire’s upcoming opponents and compiling dossiers offering detailed breakdowns of each team performance.
Manek was credited by Stuart Broad as instrumental in the Notts and England seamer’s success in the summer of 2019, after his work informed strategies which contributed to one of Broad’s most potent seasons at international level.
Prior to his appointment at Trent Bridge, Manek completed his education at Sheffield Hallam University, gaining a Master’s in Applied Sport and Exercise Science.
His value has since been proven with various overseas stints in the Abu Dhabi T10 League and Pakistan Super League.
