Wayne Noon believes we are peaking just in time for the start of the totesport League season.
The Outlaws start their campaign in Division One against Middlesex Crusaders on Sunday and although rain led to a premature finish against the Loughborough students, Noon is confident the team are prepared.
He said: "Ideally we would have liked to bat twice but Loughborough chose to bat when they won the toss. In the circumstances we got as much out of the game as we could.
"We did a professional job with the ball in the first innings and as usual Greg Smith has started the season very well.
"Anurag Singh continued his excellent form from pre-season and all the bowlers got a decent spell in for the second innings.
"We've got one more fielding session before Sunday and everyone is ready for Middlesex."
