Glamorgan v Notts ? match abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Steady rain at Swansea enabled Notts to finally chalk up their first totesport League points of the season when the match against Glamorgan was called off without a ball being bowled.
It brought to an end a wretched run of five consecutive League defeats and Director of Cricket Mick Newell is hoping it proves to be the result which transforms Notts' fortunes.
He said: "We were keen to put the events of Saturday behind us as quickly as possible so it was obviously disappointing to go all the way to Swansea and not get the chance to play.
"But at least we've now got a couple of points on the board and we have to build from here. We play Lancashire at Trent Bridge on Sunday and then Middlesex at Southgate the following week before taking a break for a month to concentrate on Twenty20.
"Our target has to be to pick up another eight points from those two matches and if we can do that, it will put us back in touch with the teams just above the relegation zone."
