England play Bangladesh at Trent Bridge tomorrow in the next match ofthe series and Nottinghamshire are delighted to report there has been abig rush on ticket sales.
Said Commercial Director Lisa Pursehouse: "We had already sold morethan 8,000 tickets which is an excellent number, bearing in mind thatmany people expected the result to be a formality.
"But with Bangladesh causing a major upset by beating Australia onSaturday and then Kevin Pietersen's sensational innings yesterday . .. it has generated a tremendous amount of interest.
"Our ticket office staff have been really stretched today, meeting thedemand for tickets and everything is building up nicely for another bigoccasion."
Tickets are on sale today via the ticket hotline (0870 168 8888) until4.30pm priced at ?25-?30 for adults and ?10 for under 16s.
They can also be bought tomorrow in person at the ground but bookings over the phone will not be accepted.
Added Ms Pursehouse: "There's still space available and as it's afloodlit match, starting at 2.30pm, it's ideal timing for people to goto work in the morning and then head off to the cricket.
"With home games to come in the Twenty20 Cup against Lancashire onFriday and Yorkshire on Sunday afternoon, it's going to be a reallyspecial week for Notts cricket followers."
