The attendance of 9,400 exceeded expectations - thanks to a late rushon sales which fully stretched the Ticket Office - and the organisationfor the floodlit fixture typically ran like 'clockwork'.
Said chief executive Derek Brewer: "Having only been in the job for twoweeks it was a really interesting experience for me and the main thingI've learned is how much planning goes into staging an internationalgame.
"Our staff handled it superbly. Everyone pulls together in a real teameffort to make things happen and it was clear to see whyNottinghamshire have such an excellent reputation for running bigmatches."
Many of the plaudits went to head groundsman Steve Birks and his team for preparing an outstanding one-day pitch.
Former England captain David Gower was among those who was generous inhis praise and he said in his Sky commentary: "Trent Bridge has had afew problems in recent years but this pitch was certainly up to thestandard we expect in Nottingham."
With four home matches in the Twenty20 Cup to organise within the spaceof seven days - and the Ashes Test in August - there will be no let-upfor Trent Bridge staff in a really busy summer.
