Bispham Drive Primary School will compete in the regional finals of the Asda Kwik Cricket tournament after winning the County Final at Lady Bay.
Asda staff gave out free caps, t-shirts, drinks and fruit at the event which was attended by Nottinghamshire spinner Rob Ferley and organised by the club’s Cricket Development Department.
Bispham coach Jim Oldham, who organises three training sessions per week for years three to six at the school, said: “We’re very keen on Kwik Cricket at our school and the children really enjoy the sessions that we organise.
“We run training sessions for half an hour before school and we always have at least 30 children at each session.
“Everyone enjoyed the event and we’re looking forward to the regional finals.”
Ravenshead, Kirkby Woodhouse, St Wilfrids, Priory, Oaktree, Lowes Wong, St Phillip Neri, Good Shepherd, Redlands, Candleby Lane and Carrington Primary Schools also took part.
