England Head Coach Peter Moores has named Notts duo Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann in his team to face New Zealand in tonight’s Twenty20 international at Old Trafford.
Ryan Sidebottom and Alastair Cook have been rested but Test team mates Kevin Pietersen, James Anderson and Ian Bell are included along with one day specialists Luke Wright, Ravi Bopara, Owais Shah and Dimitri Mascarenhas.
"It's great to see people who are not in the Test team performing well,” said Moores.
“As a coach, you always want to see them doing well and moving their games forward.
"There are always two ways into the side: through your performance, and also through someone else who is not performing as well."
