Nottinghamshire duo Charlie Shreck and Steven Mullaney took time out from their winter training to give presents to children set to spend time in hospital this Christmas.
A donation from Official Team Sponsors PKF, matched by the club, meant that £400 worth of gifts were donated to the children on ward E38 at the Queen’s Medical Centre.
“We could see the delight on the kids faces when they opened their presents,” said Charlie.
“Hopefully this can help to make their Christmas a little bit better because spending time in hospital at this time of year is far from ideal.”
As well as receiving toys and games, all of the children were given Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club gift packs and invited to attend a Friends Provident T20 fixture at Trent Bridge.
