Normanton on Soar Primary School celebrated the end of their summer term with a visit to Trent Bridge, courtesy of the club’s community partner PKF.
The school beat off competition from other primarys across the county by providing a fitting caption to accompany the picture below of Mark Ealham and Mark Wagh (right).
As part of their prize, the 30 children and their teachers were able to interview fast bowlers Luke Fletcher and Andy Carter before watching a demonstration of their fast deliveries in the nets. The group then received a tour of the ground and finally a coaching session in the indoor nets.
PKF have been an official team sponsor since 2000 and are committed to increasing participation in the game at a grassroots level.
They help to provide scholarships to new coaches during the winter as well as assisting with other community initiatives throughout the year.
