A healthy Trent Bridge crowd witnessed wins for Australia and South Africa as the ICC World Twenty20 warm-up fixtures got underway this afternoon.
5,500 supporters, including a vocal Pakistani contingent, were treated to boundaries aplenty ahead of Saturday’s sell-out group stage fixture between Bangladesh and India.
Two more warm-up fixtures take place at Trent Bridge tomorrow with Bangladesh facing Sri Lanka (1.30pm) before England tune up against Scotland (5.30pm)
Aside from India’s game against Bangladesh, tickets for all tournament fixtures at Trent Bridge remain on general sale from the official ICC website and the ticket hotline 08448472020.
Tickets for Tuesday’s double-header are available at the ground priced £15-£20 for adults and £8-£9 for under 16s.
