Primary schools throughout Nottinghamshire have the chance to win a day out at Trent Bridge thanks to club sponsors PKF.
Schoolchildren are being asked to provide a caption for an action picture featuring the Notts stars, with the winning entry earning a day at Trent Bridge for their classmates.
The competition is being jointly hosted by Notts and local business advisers PKF as part of PKF’s sponsorship of community cricket. The winning school will be invited to watch Notts play Durham, the reigning LV County Champions, on Friday July 17.
The prize includes cricket coaching, meeting some of the players before the match and the chance to play on the outfield during lunch.
Paul Ellis, partner at PKF, said: “We have been sponsoring Nottinghamshire for nearly 10 years and support all its work with schools.
“Trent Bridge is a great place to watch cricket and the Notts team are a great asset to the county. By launching this competition we hope school children can enjoy the benefits of having a First Class County Club on their doorstep.”
Chris Revill, schools liaison officer at the Club, said: “We are getting in touch with all the primary schools in the next couple of weeks and hope as many take part in the competition. This is a great prize and a great way to finish off the school year with a trip to Trent Bridge.”
