Nottinghamshire have completed the signing of Australian batsman Adam Voges who will commence his third stint as the club's overseas player following the conclusion of next week's LV= County Championship game against Lancashire.
Voges replaces David Hussey who has returned to Victoria to prepare for the Champions League and will bat in the middle order as Notts pursue honours in two competitions.
"At this stage of the season it is important that anyone that we bring in is familiar to us and Adam fits the bill perfectly," said Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell.
"He has made significant contributions for us in the past and he was very keen to see out the season with us when it became clear that David would have to return home."
Voges scored 697 LV= County Championship runs at an average of 77.4 in 2009 and has featured in 14 One Day Internationals.
