England’s youngest Test match debut, Brian Close CBE, will address guests at the Lord’s Taverners dinner at Trent Bridge on the eve of the First npower Test between England and Pakistan.
Brian played county cricket for Yorkshire and Somerset and captained England seven times in his 22-match Test career.
Snooker legend Willie Thorne will conduct the auction with BBC East Midlands Today’s Mark Shardlow set to compere the event in the Derek Randall Suite on Wednesday 28th July.
Tickets cost £45 and include a four course meal with tea and coffee.
