Notts Outlaws have attracted an additional supporter for their Clydesdale Bank 40 campaign having agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with Capital One.
The credit card issuer has a long-standing relationship with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club having spent three years as the club’s community partner.
A new green shirt featuring the Capital One logo will be worn in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Saturday when Notts host Kent Spitfires at Trent Bridge.
“Shirt sponsorship is a natural extension of our support for the club’s community initiatives in recent years and we are delighted to be in a position to back Notts Outlaws this season,” said Brian Cole, Managing Director of Capital One.
“This partnership will benefit our company, our employees and the local community. We are looking forward to supporting the club both on the field with our shirt sponsorship and off the field through our successful community programmes.”
The Outlaws enjoyed a convincing win over Hampshire Hawks on Sunday and have high hopes of success in the competition.
“Capital One is a great brand and I am extremely pleased that they have recognised the benefits of an alliance with our club,” said Nottinghamshire’s Chief Executive Derek Brewer.
The terms of the deal will see the Capital One logo on the front and back of the Outlaws’ 40-over playing shirt and will entitle the company to distribute free tickets to employees, local schools and community groups.
