Luke Fletcher looks set to return to first team action after showing no reaction to a stomach strain in the second eleven championship match against Worcestershire.

Fletcher returned figures of 4-78 as Worcestershire reached 343-9 declared in their first innings. Worcestershire’s batting effort was underpinned by Pinner (83), Pardow (73) and Leech (57) but Notts will fancy their chances of eclipsing the score on a flat pitch.

Graeme White bowled unchanged for 29 overs, a spell that included 14 maidens and one wicket for 49 runs. Direct hits from Sam Wood and Bilal Shafayat helped the Notts cause.
