Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club have been fined by the ECB for fielding an unregistered player in their Friends Life t20 fixture against Derbyshire Falcons.
Australian batsman David Hussey appeared in the match at Trent Bridge without having been correctly registered.
Nottinghamshire did not contest the charge levelled by the ECB and have accepted a fine of £600.
“We sincerely regret this administrative error and have put in place procedures to ensure that there is no repetition,” said Nottinghamshire Chief Executive Derek Brewer.
“David was unaware of the issue and was in no way at fault.”
