Notts Academy (255-3 dec) beat Belvoir (169 all out) by 86 runs
Notts Academy 20pts / Belvoir 3pts
Tom Rowe continued his run of form with a fine 91 following on from his knock of 86 last week. His runs came from 106 balls with nine fours.
Sam Wood made 85, with several untaken chances in the field by Belvoir but his innings was more aggressive as he struck three maximums and nine fours.
The pair added 142 for the second wicket before Rowe was out and then Sam Wood shared a 48-run stand with Michael Robson before departing.
Robson (25) and Oli Swann (14) were the not out batsmen when Notts declared - early rain having turned the game from limited overs to limited time..
Brett Hutton took two early wickets and then Dan Cumming captured the prize wicket of Darren Bicknell to leave the home side on 19-3.
Tom Neville (53) and James Needle then added 88 for the third wicket before the former was out.
Adam Dobb then turned the match the Academy's way with a good spell of spin bowling finishing with 4-40.
The last wicket pair threatened to bat out time but Needle who had batted stubbornly to defy the Notts bowling was the last man out caught by Dobb in the slips for 58.
