Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell has named the eleven players that will begin the Outlaws' Friends Life t20 campaign.
Newell will be denied the services of Samit Patel and Alex Hales to sporadic England commitments but both players will face Leicestershire Foxes live on Sky Sports on Tuesday as part of a strong batting line-up.
Hales will open alongside ICC World Twenty20 winner Michael Lumb with Patel, Riki Wessels, James Taylor and captain Adam Voges completing a formidable top six.
"We have some very strong batting options and we have a chance to make a statement against a Leicestershire side who will be full of confidence given the quality they showed last season," said Newell.
"We'll lose Samit during the One Day series and Alex will play for England in the twenty20 international at Trent Bridge. That will provide opportunities for the likes of Ben Phillips, Luke Fletcher and Graeme White who are on the fringes at the moment but our strongest team will face Leicestershire."
Harry Gurney returns to Grace Road for the first time since joining Taylor in completing a switch to Trent Bridge during the winter.
Gurney will join Darren Pattinson and Andy Carter as the Outlaws' front line seamers with Chris Read and Steven Mullaney completing the line-up.
Tuesday's match at Grace Road begins at 5.40pm with Notts Outlaws back in action at Trent Bridge on Friday when Derbyshire Falcons provide the opposition (play starts 5pm).
Notts Outlaws team to face Leicestershire Foxes: Alex Hales, Michael Lumb, Riki Wessels, Samit Patel, James Taylor, Adam Voges, Chris Read, Steven Mullaney, Darren Pattinson, Harry Gurney, Andy Carter
