Graeme White has been named as Samit Patel’s replacement in the Notts Outlaws team to face Derbyshire Falcons at Trent Bridge in Friday’s Friends Life t20 fixture (play starts 5pm).
Patel will hope to feature throughout England’s NatWest One Day International Series against West Indies with White set to deputise.
Notts are otherwise unchanged from their resounding victory over Leicestershire Foxes on Tuesday with Michael Lumb and Alex Hales set to open the batting.
Adam Voges will captain the Outlaws with Chris Read behind the stumps and James Taylor reinforcing the top order.
“Tuesday’s performance was pleasing but it wasn’t a typical Twenty20 fixture given the low total that we found ourselves chasing,” said Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell.
“We asked Michael Lumb to be there at the end which may have reined him in a little bit but that isn’t how we envisage using him throughout the competition.
“Home form will be important and we have a confidence in our game plan at Trent Bridge but it is easy to get caught cold in this format and we need to maintain high standards in the field.”
