Notts Outlaws have strengthened their relationship with Capital One by agreeing a one year extension to their shirt sponsorship deal.
Capital One will serve as the club’s Community Partner as part of the agreement and will support the activities of the Trent Bridge Community Sports Trust as well as providing family day activities at Clydesdale Bank 40 matches for their staff and Outlaws supporters.
The credit card issuer has a long-standing relationship with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club having already spent four years in partnership..
A new green shirt featuring the Capital One logo will be worn for the first time during Nottinghamshire’s pre-season tour of Barbados.
“Our relationship with Notts Outlaws has helped to raise the profile of the Club and Capital One in the community and that remains our motivation for enhancing this partnership,” said Stuart Mather, Capital One’s Community Relations Manager.
“Like Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, we are committed to several schemes that benefit our staff, our customers and the wider community and we look forward to putting our plans into action throughout the 2012 season.”
Nottinghamshire captain Chris read and new signings Michael Lumb and James Taylor unveiled the new shirt during a photography shoot at Nottingham Castle.
“Capital One is a renowned brand and their support of our community initiatives exemplifies their commitment to make a difference in Nottingham,” said Nottinghamshire’s Chief Executive Derek Brewer.
“I am very proud that they have recognised that our organisations share similar values and aspirations and we are extremely grateful for their support.”
The terms of the deal will entitle the company to distribute free tickets for the Outlaws’ CB40 matches to employees, local schools and community groups.
