Following this morning's practice session at the Franklyn Stephenson Cricket Academy, Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell has named his side to face Barbados at the Kensington Oval this evening.

Neither Alex Hales (knee) or James Taylor (hamstring) are included, although Michael Lumb will make his first Outlaws appearance on the ground where he became a World Cup winner with England in 2010.

Team v Barbados (7.30pm local time, 11.30pm UK time): Chris Read (capt), Michael Lumb, Neil Edwards, Riki Wessels, Scott Elstone, Steven Mullaney, Karl Turner, Ben Phillips, Graeme White, Andy Carter and Harry Gurney.

The match is the fourth and final quarter-final in The Banks Barbados T20 Cup, with the winners facing Yorkshire on Thursday morning, whilst the losing team will play against Derbyshire.

The draw has taken place for the semi finals of The Banks Barbados Cup and Plate.

If the Outlaws beat Barbados then they will return to a ground they’ve already played on, Windward CC (venue for the defeat against Warwickshire Bears last Saturday).

They would face Yorkshire Carnegie in the last-four clash, with the winners then going to play in the final of the main competition.

Should Notts lose to Barbados then they would drop to the Plate competition with a fixture against East Midland rivals, Derbyshire Falcons. That match would take place at Carlton CC.

All semi-finals will take place on Thursday morning with the competition drawing to a close later the same evening.
