Barely twelve hours after leaving the field at Kensington Oval after defeating Barbados, the Outlaws will be playing against Yorkshire for a right to return to the Test venue later in the day to contest the final of The Banks Barbados T20 Cup.
Notts defeated Yorkshire earlier in the week in a 40 over contest and will now look to get the better of them in the shorter format.
Despite having to play so many games in such a short space of time, Mick Newell is all in favour.
“The format of this competition is terrific really,” said Newell.
“t was a great occasion to play at the Kensington Oval and if the lads want to go back there again for the final then they will have to perform well and beat Yorkshire.”
Andy Carter will not be considered for the game, adding to Notts’ mounting casualty list, leaving Paul Franks and Luke Fletcher vying for a starting berth.
