Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell will rest three of his front line bowlers for this evening's Clydesdale Bank40 match against Hampshire Royals at The Ageas Bowl this evening.
Andre Adams, Ben Phillips and Harry Gurney will all miss the match having helped Nottinghamshire return to the top of division one of the LV= County Championship with a win over Sussex and Luke Fletcher faces two weeks on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Newell can call on Darren Pattinson who has made a good recovery from a stress fracture of the back whilst Steven Mullaney is back on duty following the birth of his first child.
Jake Ball, Andy Carter and Paul Franks are also vying for a place in the pace attack whilst the Outlaws will name a full-strength batting line-up.
Riki Wessels is named in Newell's 13-man squad following his 199 at Hove with Alex Hales and Michael Lumb set to open the batting whilt James Taylor, Samit Patel, Adam Voges abd Chris Read will complete a formidable order.
