Volunteers are needed to help out when the Investec Ashes Series comes to Nottingham in July.
Trent Bridge is looking for people to act like Games Makers at the London Olympics, with a variety of roles on offer. They include entertainment, ticketing, media, catering and retail.
Tracey Francis, Head of Community Sport at Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, said the aim was to recruit 80 volunteers.
"It's all part of creating a carnival atmosphere while the Ashes are taking place and an Ashes legacy once they have finished," she said.
"We're looking for all sorts of people, people who will help around the ground and at the venue, but also we want people to learn how to play the samba drums to create a band for the five days.
"Community involvement was a big part of our bid here at Trent Bridge and we have punched above our weight in getting the tests we have.
"The volunteers are one part of the community involvement that goes with the Ashes – we're holding art competitions, doing projects in schools. It's all really exciting."
There will also be entertainment on Trent Bridge, London Road and the station to create an atmosphere all the way to the ground, she added.
The clash between England and Australia, at Trent Bridge between July 10 and 14, and a programme of major matches running to 2016 is expected to generate £30 million for the regional economy.
Many hotels are booked up for the five-day clash and tickets for the game are sold out.
Volunteers have to be over 18 and will get training in their roles with a dry run taking place on June 5 at the One-Day International match with New Zealand.
The closing date for applications is April 26. For information, e-mail Jack Arnold at jack.arnold@nottsccc.co.uk or download an Application Pack by clicking here. For information on joining the Activation & Entertainments Team click here.
