Michael Lumb’s brilliant 96 off 52 balls saw Notts Outlaws continue their unbeaten start to this year’s Friends Life t20.
Set 155 for victory, Lumb took the Durham Dynamos bowlers apart in an innings that contained 14 fours and 3 sixes.

The innings saw him take the record for the highest individual score for Notts in twenty20 cricket.
“It feels pretty good but more importantly, it's four out of four for us and we’re on a bit of a role away from home,” he said.
“It was one of those days when everything clicked, so I’m really happy.
I thought 180 was probably par, so the batters were confident trying to chase that down.”
Earlier on, David Hussey won the toss and elected to field first under glorious blue skies at Chester-le-Street, with Ajmal Shahzad coming into the side for Ian Butler.
In what was the Outlaws’ 100th t20 game, Ajmal Shahzad (0-23) and Harry Gurney (0-30) took the new ball and after what was a watchful start the Dynamos reached 22-0 after 3 overs.
Phil Mustard (15) was the first wicket to go, falling to a sharp catch from David Hussey diving forward at mid-on off the bowling of Jake Ball (2-21.)
Mark Stoneman, Durham captain for the day, brought up his maiden t20 fifty from 40 balls off the bowling of Steven Mullaney (0-22).
Having brought up his fifty, Stoneman (51) was then clean bowled by a much quicker delivery from David Hussey (2-23) in his second over.
The Outlaws claimed their third wicket in the 17th over, with Ben Stokes (7) failing to connect properly with an attempted ramp shot and the ball falling straight into the hands of James Taylor off the bowling of Jake Ball.
Scott Borthwick (44) drove Hussey down the ground off the first ball of the 18th, before the Australian all-rounder stuck again, clean bowling the 23 year old with another quicker delivery.
Having seen the penultimate over the innings go for 18, Breese (18*) launched a Harry Gurney full toss high in the air, with Read failing to take a difficult chance in a swirling wind, as the Dynamos closed on 154-4.
In pursuit of 155 for victory, Alex Hales (34) and Michael Lumb were kept in check by tight bowling from Smith, Rushworth and Stokes, before Lumb’s first boundary of the innings in the 3rd over opened the floodgates.
Lumb’s excellent t20 form this season continued with a couple of fours and a huge six off Rushworth’s 2nd over to guide the Outlaws to 35-0 after 4.
Alex Hales brought up the Outlaws fifty in the 6th over with a powerful back foot drive off the bowling of Ryan Pringle, as Mick Newell’s side ended the powerplay on 56-0.
Lumb continued to deal in boundaries and brought up his 2nd fifty of the tournament off 30 balls with a rare single off Borthwick.
The Outlaws lost their first wicket in the 9th over, with Hales bowled by Gareth Breese, and at the halfway stage the visitors were 94-1.
Michael Lumb was eventually stumped off the bowling of Scott Borthwick for 96, by Phil Mustard, before a David Hussey 6 completed the victory.
