Australia's domestic Twenty20 tournament, the KFC T20 Big Bash League is well underway, and the fixture between the Sydney Sixers and Hobart Hurricanes could see as many as four Nottinghamshire players taking part.

Alex Hales and 2015 overseas signing Ben Hilfenhaus are likely to represent the Hurricanes, while the SIxers boast mainstay Michael Lumb and last-minute signing Riki Wessels. Ed Cowan could also feature for the Sixers, another familiar face to Nottinghamshire fans after spending time at Trent Bridge at the start of the 2013 season.

Those in the competition have enjoyed mixed fortunes thus far. Lumb started the tournament strongly, clubbing a rapid 28 to help propel the Sixers to a handsome eight-wicket victory over the Melbourne Renegades. Hales was less fortunate though, his first innings with his third BBL team ending runless after two balls.

Fortunately for the Hurricanes, Hilfenhaus proved his class and took 4-27 to push his side on to victory. With both sides unbeaten and keen to press their advantage, expect fireworks at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart.

Notts Outlaws hope to break the 10,000 barrier when reigning champions Birmingham Bears visit Trent Bridge for a NatWest T20 Blast encounter on Friday 15 May. Adult tickets have been reduced to £10 with further discounts in place for under 16s (£5), under 21s (£7) over 65s (£7) buying in advance. Secure your seats here.
