Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club IT suppliers deeserve have launched a live streaming service from Trent Bridge.
Supporters will be able to watch live streaming from cameras mounted inside and outside of the Trent Bridge Pavilion as part of the recently launched Trent Bridge Live platform from today as part of a fully-featured trial.
“There’s nothing quite like watching cricket at Trent Bridge but we were challenged to find a way to improve the experience for those who choose to follow matches remotely,” said deeserve’s Technical Director Darren Wilders.
“This project demonstrates a combination of our services including network support, server support and IT support which, in this case, has come together to create a live streaming solution that we hope members and supporters will enjoy.”
Two high-definition cameras will stream the footage and while rights issues will govern how much match action can be shown live, plans are in place to broadcast competitive cricket from Trent Bridge when circumstances allow.
“We constantly strive to make improvements to our official website and feel that this is another important innovation that will create a point of difference between trentbridge.co.uk and other sites,” said Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club’s New Media Manager Chris Botherway.
“We’re looking forward to seeing how we can use the deeserve infrastructure for further innovations and hope that users are impressed with the quality of the service.”
