Arch Communications have renewed their commitment to the Trent Bridge Community Trust by agreeing to provide financial support to a volunteering campaign to enhance spectator experience during international matches at Trent Bridge.
England will face India in an Investec Test Match and a Royal London One-Day International at the Nottinghamshire venue this summer with the Trust determined to build on the volunteering programme that helped to bring last summer's Investec Ashes Test to life.
“I’m absolutely delighted that we can once again support the brilliant volunteering programme at Trent Bridge," said Matt Youdale, Director of Arch Communications.
"It was a huge success during last year’s Investec Ashes Test and we’re especially pleased that so many of the volunteers have gained qualifications or paid work opportunities as a result. We’re also passionate cricket fans, so this is a perfect fit for us.”
Tracey Francis, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club's Head of Community Sport, is making rapid progress in finalising plans for another significant volunteering effort and appealed for more local businesses to follow the lead of Arch Communications in backing her scheme.
"We're proud to have extended our partnership with Arch Communications which enables us to fund training, uniforms and travel expenses for our volunteers who contribute so much to the friendly welcome that has become a hallmark of Trent Bridge," said Tracey.
"We've had a significant commitment from Ashes volunteers who want to return this year but we're keen to recruit new volunteers with a particular focus on those with asian language skills."
