Nottinghamshire batsman Michael Lumb has been awarded an England incremental contract for 2013-14.
Lumb qualifies for the contract after making ten appearances for his country over the past twelve months. He has faced Australia twice in T20 matches, before the spring has seen him appear in three ODIs and a T20 against the West Indies, and England’s fixtures in the ICC World Twenty 20.
Lumb has been an integral part of England’s T20 side, making 25 appearances since his debut in 2010, while the left-hander scored an excellent 106 on his One Day International debut against the West Indies last month.
Chris Jordan has also been awarded a contract, having played in six ODIs and four T20 matches.
Twenty20 cricket returns to Trent Bridge in May with the launch of the Natwest T20 Blast. Lancashire will be the first to face off against Lumb and the Outlaws side. To witness the spectacle, move quickly and secure your seats now.
