Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club are looking to appoint a Project Worker for their Positive Futures programme in Rushcliffe. This is a fixed-term contract to 31 December 2016.
Positive Futures is a national social inclusion programme using sport and leisure activities to engage with disadvantaged and socially marginalised young people. The programme aims to have a positive influence on young people's lives by widening horizons and providing access to new opportunities within a culturally familiar environment. Using sport and leisure activities as a catalyst to encourage project participation, young people are steered towards education, training and employment.
This is a newly-created fixed-term post for a full-time position to work in Bingham as part of a joint partnership between the Trent Bridge Community Trust and Rushcliffe Borough Council.
