Nottinghamhire batsman Alex Hales has been nominated in the Twenty20 international performance of the year category at the LG ICC Awards.
His explosive 116 not out for England against Sri Lanka at the ICC World Twenty20 in March has seen him shortlisted alongside Aaron Finch, for his 156 against England in August, and Rangana Herath, for his bowling performance against New Zealand, also in the ICC World Twenty20.
Hales struck 11 fours and 14 sixes in the 64-ball knock which erased memories of his 99 against West Indies at Trent Bridge in the shortest format.
