Affixxius Films have been awarded a Royal Television Society Award for Best Promotional Programme for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club's ‘Cricket Has Landed’ campaign.
The two-minute video starring Nottinghamshire players Steven Mullaney, Ajmal Shahzad, Riki Wessels and Sam Wood formed the centrepiece of the Club’s effort to promote NatWest T20 Blast fixtures at Trent Bridge.
Nottinghamshire were one of four first class counties to increase their average attendance in 2014, despite the expansion of the group stage, attracting a total of 72,219 to Trent Bridge, a figure only surpassed by Surrey.
Affixxius have worked alongside the Trent Bridge marketing team since 2010 with four incarnations of the Club’s ‘Put Some Colour In Your Cricket’ campaign succeeded by the latest creative treatment.
Paralympic gold medallist Richard Whitehead and Nottingham Panthers trio Jonathan Boxill, Robert Lachowicz and Tom Norton also featured in the video which helped to attract record T20 crowds to Trent Bridge.
