Nottinghamshire Seconds took one victory and suffered a heavy defeat when they hosted Lancashire in two Twenty20 matches at Worksop College.
The visitors won the toss in the first game choosing to bat first with Alex Mellor and Liam Livingstone adding 15 before the former was caught behind off Simon Webster.
Harry Dearden and Livingstone brought the fifty, Livingstone the aggressor of the pair as his six brought up the milestone in just the fifth over.
That score had progressed to 102 in just the 11th over but by that time Livingstone had lost a few partners, Dearden dismissed by Adam Tillcock and Robert Jones bowled by Matt Carter for five.
Livingstone finally fell for 84, caught at long-on by Carter, but that was the last of the joy for the hosts’ bowlers despite Stephen Parry having to retire hurt on eight.
However, Bohannon’s 39* guided the score up to 184-4 after the 20 overs with Aaron Lilley not out at the other end on nine.
Nottinghamshire’s reply was started by Simon Webster and Tom Moores but quick early wickets put the hosts on the back foot from the off.
Moores (10), Freeman (1) and Webster (8) all fell within the first six overs as Notts could only go to 27-3 by the end of the powerplay.
Adam Tillcock and Will Root pushed the total past 50 but the pair were always behind the run rate, Root falling in the 11th over, Notts only on 62-4.
Dominic Brown came in but faced just three balls before he was LBW to Livingstone, out for 3, the score 68-5.
Connor Marshall was next in but in the 13th Tillcock (21) was caught by Liam Grey off Aaron Lilley, the host’s six wickets down for just 76.
Livingstone then struck twice in the next over, removing Marshall (4) and Kitt (2) before the last two wickets fell in the 15th over, Carter (1) and Bowles (5) falling to Daniel Lamb, Nottinghamshire all out for 90.
Lamb ended with figures of 5-25 off 3.5 overs and Liam Livingstone 3-7 off two overs guiding Lancashire to a 94-run win.
Lancashire batting again in the second match, this time winning the toss but found themselves struggling on 35-3 by the fifth over.
Livingstone, Gowers and Jones all fell with only 35 on the board and those early wickets once again set the tone for a low total.
Josh Bohannon (35) held the visitors’ innings together, but around him wickets fell and when he was ran out in the 16th over, Lancashire were 94-8.
The visitors eventually finished on 118 all out when Brett Hutton run out Toby Lester for 11, Ben Kitt taking 3-18 and Adam Tillcock 3-23.
Nottinghamshire’s reply came from Michael Lumb and Tom Moores but in the 2nd over Moores (4) was caught mid-wicket by Aaron Lilley off Gavin Griffiths.
The hosts were also struggling early on in their chase, Lumb removed for seven and Dan Freeman run out for eight as Notts fell to 28-3.
Next to the crease was Brett Hutton and the fifty came up second ball of the tenth over with a four from Root, the pair keeping the score ticking over.
The fifty partnership came up in the 15th over but then Hutton (22) was caught by keeper Ashley Gowers off Daniel Lamb, the score 79-4.
The hundred came in the 18th over and Will Root reached his fifty from just 41 balls before hitting the winning four in the final over to finish unbeaten on 57, Notts winning by six wickets.
