Nottinghamshire duo Harry Gurney and Chris Read led the Club’s annual Christmas hospital visit at the Queens Medical Centre, handing out presents with Official Team Sponsors John Pye Auctions.
The pair, along with Giorgio Vitale from John Pye, spent the morning on the Children’s Assessment Unit of the hospital.
“It’s a wonderful cause to be a part of, obviously no one wants to be in hospital at this time of year leading up to Christmas,” said Nottinghamshire Club Captain Read.
“But if we can make them feel just a little bit better by giving them a little gift this close to Christmas then that’s great.
“It makes you feel a bit warmer inside, there are some sick children on this ward but hopefully they’ll be better in time for Christmas and they’ll be able to enjoy it.”
“We’re a Nottinghamshire based business who are in partnership with the Club, so we’re proud to be involved in it,” added Vitale.
“Our outreach work within the community is very important to us.”
