Kent moved into a strong position on day three of their Specsavers County Championship clash with Nottinghamshire, despite Samit Patel hitting his first red-ball half-century of the season.
Former Notts bowler Matt Milnes completed a five-wicket haul as the visitors were bowled out for 267, before James Pattinson and Jake Ball made early breakthroughs in the Kent second innings.
The home side would end the day in control, however, thanks to an unbeaten century for Joe Denly and 79 from Daniel Bell-Drummond.
