Nottinghamshire Head Coach Peter Moores believes his side got a lot out of their encounter with Warwickshire, as their first pre-season fixture came to a close.
With the likes of Haseeb Hameed and Peter Trego getting their first half-centuries for the club and the bowling unit getting overs under their belt, Moores says the fixture has been valuable as the preparation ramps up ahead of the first Bob Willis Trophy match on Saturday 1 August.
With Leicestershire next up at Trent Bridge, Moores is hopeful that the green and golds will take a further step up in performance levels as the side try and make their home turf a daunting place to travel for opposition sides.
