Brett Hutton’s stellar Royal London Cup campaign, in which he ended the tournament as leading wicket-taker, has seen him named the John Pye Player of the Month for August.
Across the Outlaws’ nine matches, Hutton amassed 22 wickets at an average of 14.59 and an economy of just 4.51 as the Green and Golds reached the knockout stages.
His standout performance came at the home of the Leicestershire Foxes, when he returned figures of 7-26, the best in the history of the Royal London Cup and his first five-wicket haul in List A cricket.
Hutton was presented with his award by Carlie Martin from John Pye & Sons.
