Fateh Singh struck a swift 75 as Nottinghamshire secured a five wicket victory over Derbyshire in their final Second XI Championship fixture of the season at Belper.
Set 156 to win, the visitors were put on the back foot in the morning session when reduced to 62-5, with Calvin Harrison the only batter to pass ten.
But Sam Seecharan and Singh combined to add the 94 runs required for victory, the former finishing unbeaten on 20 off 64 deliveries, whilst Singh carved 13 fours in his 66-ball stay at the crease.
