Trent Bridge Community Trust last week welcomed prospective partners and referrers from across the county for a webinar on the charity’s Wellbeing Programmes.

Programme leaders Ian Richardson and Dr Nigel Plant explained how Notts In Mind and Forget Me Notts aim to help those experiencing mental health challenges and individuals and carers living with dementia, detailing the layout of sessions themselves and how participants can get involved.

Two films were shared during the webinar, one featuring Notts in Mind participant Aaron Taylor, who since enrolling on the project has become a volunteer and, more recently, a staff member on both Wellbeing Programmes.

Forget Me Notts attendees Heather and Helen, meanwhile, explained how the project has offered solace for themselves and their partners who are living with dementia, with a like-minded community of people and a supportive environment providing a safe haven.
