Fast bowler Jack Brooks has joined Notts Outlaws on a two week white-ball loan deal.
The Somerset bowler joins Conor McKerr on temporary deals at Trent Bridge ahead of the Vitality Blast which begins on Friday.
The 38-year-old has 61 wickets in 71 domestic T20 fixtures, across stints at Northamptonshire, Yorkshire and Somerset.
“We have looked to reinforce our bowling group in the short term because of the injuries we’ve sustained, and Jack adds a known quality,” Head Coach Peter Moores said.
“Both him and Conor each bring something unique, hence the reason we’ve bought them in.
“We’ve got an intense period of seven games in ten days over the next few weeks, so we need the depth and options at our disposal, and it is an exciting opportunity for both of them.”
Notts Outlaws begin their Vitality Blast campaign against Derbyshire Falcons on Friday 26 May.
They then travel to Lancashire Lightning and Durham over the bank holiday weekend before returning home to face Yorkshire Vikings on Tuesday 30 May.
