Joe Clarke admitted his satisfaction to have steered Notts to a draw against Lancashire with his fourth ton of the season at Southport.
The top-order batter made 115 across four sessions after Notts were asked to follow-on, including a stand of 136 with Lyndon James whom he credit for his maturity shown.
He also praised the contributions of Will Young and Jack Haynes in Nottinghamshire’s second innings, whilst reflecting on the challenges of facing the Red Rose bowling attack which included Nathan Lyon and James Anderson.
