Ben Slater and Haseeb Hameed each hit half-centuries before Sam Evans’ unbeaten 132 saw Lincolnshire to success in Notts Outlaws’ 50-over warm-up at Lindum.
Opener Slater, who boasts an average of 52.18 in List A cricket, made 70 from 72 balls – initially finding support from Sammy King, who followed his impressive performance on T20 debut at Headingley with 40 from 50 deliveries at number three.
Hameed, meanwhile, hit 79 from 69 balls, including ten fours, as he and Slater shared a stand of 53 for the third wicket before the skipper departed.
There were cameos from Rob Lord (20 from 26 on his first-team debut), Fateh Singh (36 from 26) and Dillon Pennington (28 from 12), with Toby Pettman hitting 47 from 14 balls as the Outlaws were bowled out in the 50th over for 331.
In reply, Linclonshire lost Qundeel Haider to Pettman for 9, before Evans and Ben Wright put on a century partnership for the second wicket.
Freddie McCann claimed his maiden first-team wicket when he removed Wright for 69, with Fateh Singh lured Joe Pocklington into edging behind.
Dillon Pennington removed Jordan Cook, but home skipper Tom Keast proved a valuable foil for Evans as he made 47 from 33 before falling to Brett Hutton.
It was left to Evans, who has made 40 senior appearances for Leicestershire, to secure the spoils from the penultimate ball of the innings.
