Matthew Montgomery’s half-century was the high score for Notts’ Second XI as they recorded two T20 wins from two over Leeds/Bradford UCCE at Weetwood.
Montgomery’s 51 from 38 balls came in the second fixture of the day, as the Outlaws amassed 169/9 from their 20 overs.
The all-rounder put on a 79-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Sammy King, who blitzed a quickfire 46 from 28 balls, including five fours and a six.
There were three wickets for Fateh Singh in Leeds/Bradford’s reply, with Montgomery, Byron Hatton-Lowe, James Hayes and Toby Pettman each claiming a scalp as the hosts finished ten runs short on 159/7.

Earlier, Notts secured a four-wicket win over the same opposition, with Dane Schadendorf’s unbeaten 45 from 24 deliveries the key contribution.
Ben Martindale made an aggressive start to the chase, hitting 37 from 29 balls, as Notts reached their target of 117 with six overs to spare.
There had been two wickets apiece for Pettman, Montgomery, Singh and Freddie McCann, with one for Hatton-Lowe, as the university outfit were restricted to 116/9 from their 20 overs.
