Our ambition is to make cricket a game for everyone, regardless of their needs.

Our varied disability projects faciliate access in a multitude of ways, from providing a safe space in which individuals can play the traditional version of cricket we know and love, to adapting the sport to make it a pursuit playable by all. 

Super 1s 

Super1s is a national programme funded by the Lord’s Taverners which gives young disabled people, aged 12-25, opportunities to play cricket in a supportive environment.

Our Super1s community cricket hubs offer coaching, competitive festivals and life skills workshops; delivered by experienced coaches Super1s takes a holistic approach, using cricket as a tool for developing the whole person.

SEND Schools Programmes

Table Cricket 

Funded by Lord’s Taverners and delivered in partnership with The Belvoir Cricket and Countryside Trust, Table Cricket brings an adapted cricket-based game into SEND settings, allowing disabled young people to access a different and exciting form of the game.

Played in small teams on a table tennis table, it is often a great first step for young disabled people into cricket. Competitive, organisational and leadership skills can be developed through exciting and inclusive gameplay.

Kwik Cricket

As part of the blended SEND schools programme we are now offering regular softball cricket delivery in SEND schools across the county.

Our coaches attend SEND schools to deliver skills and gameplay sessions to young disabled people, culminating in inter-school competition days.

ECB Disability Champion Clubs

The Disability Cricket Champion Club Programme will support cricket clubs through guidance, resource and equipment, enabling them to welcome individuals with additional needs and varying abilities to support them to play, follow, officiate and volunteer.

This creates a truly equitable club game and providing fantastic new opportunities for cricketers and for the Champion Clubs.
