Conor McKerr joined Notts Outlaws on a two-week limited overs loan deal ahead of the 2023 Vitality Blast.

The Surrey seamer – who had also been out on loan to Kent - joined the Outlaws squad for training before their T20 opener against Derbyshire Falcons at Trent Bridge on Friday 26 May.

One of two T20 loan signings, McKerr provided cover for the injured Olly Stone and Luke Fletcher.  “Conor is a good fit for us in the short term with the attributes he’ll bring to the team,” Head Coach Peter Moores said.

He played in the first four T20 matches of the campaign, taking four wickets at 39.25 and a strike rate of 21.00.

Conor McKerr was born in Johannesburg on 19 January 1998 and had played for Derbyshire in the 2021 T20 campaign.

At the end of the 2024 season, it was announced that Conor McKerr would be joining the playing staff at Trent Bridge on a three-year contract.
