Graeme White joined Nottinghamshire in 2010 after making eight first class appearances for his previous county, Northamptonshire. The slow-left arm spinner had to wait for an opportunity to add to that tally, making just one championship appearance in his first year at Notts.
2011 saw him feature prominently in the second half of the season with impressive performances coming against Lancashire and Durham. At Southport, against the eventual county champions, he registered his first half-century for his new county – an innings that proved to be the highest score of the contest. A week later, in the home victory over Durham, he returned 4-72, new career best bowling figures.
Whilst having to wait to make his mark in the championship side White impressed in the shorter formats. As well as taking useful wickets, he proved an agile, athletic fielder, and played regularly in Twenty20 and List-A cricket.
He briefly returned to Northants on loan in June 2013, and later that year signed a longer term contract with the club, where he stills plays.
As a young player he played for the England Under-19s in most formats, including the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka.
