Using sport as a vehicle to boost mental wellbeing

Feeling down? Need a boost? Stressed out? Finding it hard to cope?

 

We believe in providing inclusive opportunities where everyone feels valued, respected and empowered.

We use sport and physical activity to:

  • Increase self-esteem
  • Build confidence
  • Improve fitness levels
  • Meet new people

We provide:

  • Safe and supportive environments
  • Mental health and wellbeing support
  • Inclusive social and sporting activites
  • A cuppa, chat and a biscuit or two!

 

Sessions involve a mixture of mental wellbeing activities, workshops and support in combination with physical wellbeing activities, ranging from dancing, circuit training, guided gym work, seated and adaptive exercise, aqua aerobic sessions, yoga and mindfulness activities.

Thursdays: 10:30 - 12:00pm - Cogtrave Leisure Centre

Cotgrave Leisure Centre, Woodview, Cotgrave, Nottingham NG12 3PJ

 

Thursdays: 1:30 - 3:00pm - The Indian Community Centre
