Nottinghamshire all-rounder Samit Patel spent eight hours under the spotlight this week in preparation for the launch of a new marketing campaign to attract supporters to Trent Bridge for the revamped Friends Provident t20.
Notts Outlaws will compete in eight Twenty20 matches at Trent Bridge beginning with the visit of Derbyshire Falcons on Friday 11th June.
Billboards and buses will be adorned with images of Patel striking paintballs whilst a promotional video will form the centrepiece of a revamped matchday presentation.
"I drew the short straw to end up dodging paintballs for eight hours but it was a great experience and the footage we have been shown looks fantastic," said Samit.
"We're making a big effort to make our Friends Provident t20 matches appeal to a wide audience and I can't wait to see the finished product."
