Nottinghamshire’s bid to take the four remaining Warwickshire wickets was stymied by persistent rain and resolute batting on day four at Edgbaston.
Light rain began well before the scheduled start of play in Birmingham, and continued throughout the morning, triggering an early lunch at 12.30pm.
With skies brightening, play finally began at 3.45pm following an early Tea interval, with Brett Hutton and Fergus O'Neill immediately testing the resolve of Ed Barnard and Olly Hannon-Dalby.
Skipper Haseeb Hameed rotated his attack in search of a breakthrough, with Josh Tongue bringing an injection of pace, and Lyndon James and Farhan Ahmed also causing problems for the Bears pair.
But the light closed in as the final hour commenced at 5pm, and play was officially called off for the day at 5.59pm, with Warwickshire 181/6.
Notts take 14 points from the heavily rain-affected draw, with Warwickshire receiving 11.
The Green and Golds face Sussex at Trent Bridge from Friday 25 April.
